AirAlly Update, the last batch delivery information

Hey Folks,

Our priority is always to serve our backers at the best we can.

Nonetheless, our project has been affected by a number of exceptional circumstances in the last 6 months and they’re as below;

1) The Hong Kong civil movement which had halted the transportation system numerous times, up to 90% of goods been affected and prolonged the process.

2) Chinese New Year is a colossal human migration, and factory could take as long as a month for holiday break.

3) The once in a lifetime coronavirus pandemic, created a biblical scale damage across the ocean, severely affected logistics, manufacturing, and transportation.

Though the above mentioned issues are out of our control, we always dedicated to do our part no matter what.

The logistics company been gradually get back to work again, those remaining batch of goods will start to deliver accordingly. We will send out tracking number for backers at Japan and Philippine today. The rest will follow suit as we keep moving on.

However, for certain countries as their virus outbreak was just began, don’t know what’s going on when the goods arrived there. Will the local logistics be affected or does the last leg courier crippled by this unprecedented event?

Therefore, when backers received their backing numbers, please kindly pay attention to the delivery process and should you have any query in between, please don’t hesitate to contact the delivery company to get the direct response.

For those delivered products with malfunction issues, anticipate a survey will send out by April to all backers, and relevant action by customer assistant will provide accordingly.

Bad news about AirAlly Gen. 2.0

Airally Gen.2.0 development had stricken by some misfortune event – the molding factory was forced to shut down for two months due to one of its worker found caught with the coronavirus. The project will suspend until August.

One more thing from us...

However, despite all these adversity, a uniquely designed, casual carry charging gadget has been created. We believe people will jaw dropped when seeing this new item. Its MFI certified, i.e. approved by Apple. The gold standard in the industry.

Way more impactful than AirAlly in our opinion, and will launch at Kickstarter by May, 2020.

90% orders sent + User manual update + AirAlly Stand improvement + After sales issue

Hey Folks,

We are so excited that over 90% of goods been shipped. Just as what we had been promised at the Kickstarter page originally to start delivery by December, 2019 / Januaray,2020.

For those late comer, their goods will start shipping from February.

Over 90% KS projects will experience over two months delay in delivery

Fun facts : over 99% KS projects never made delivery within their pledged period,and we are in battery business which is notorious for difficulty in shipment, and not to mention Hong Kong issues during the last quarter in 2019, as well as pre-Christmas transport hassle. We work 24 hours round the clock, frenetically to finish this task.

Gratefully thank you Kickstarter as an innovative platform, which helps to nurture small start up to thrive and creative. It’s not a retail store, so most backers are supportive and inclusive, a big thank you to you all.

If you don’t received yet and are belongs to the list above, could be people living in remote area, or wrong post code, not matching with the address, could experience delay. Your tracking number maybe dropped at your trash box.You may log-in backerkit to check for yourself.

For remote area, region will be finished by February. And due to the advent of Chinese New Year, the shipping speed will slow down throughout the end of January to mid of February.

If you have received, please go through the points below which can enhance your user experience;

1) The first 3 LEDs of AirAlly are on to represent 100% electricity

2) It is already known that Apple ’s PD charger is not suitable for third-party PD devices. If this is the case, please replace the USB charger or other type-c PD charger.

3) Please make sure update your watch to OS 5.0 or above. We can no longer find and test below OS 5.0. Watch OS has been updated to OS 5.0.

4) The power button should press once before starting wireless charging performance

5) The wireless charging mode will trigger once AirAlly was plugged into wall charger

6) For point 4 and 5 features; if no phone been placed on AirAlly, the wireless charging mode will closed in 45sec.

7) The possible reasons for the last LED light turn on to become red are as below;

A, Press the button once and it will flash for a while.

B, Foreign metal objects in close proximity to AirAlly.

C, We suspect due to slight difference in specification of the iPhone wireless charging coil in different countries, may contribute to these red light effect. So far we have received 10 cases report( 2200 units sent ) , so still in acceptable range and will further investigate the root course.

8) AirAlly can use USB-A to C cable for charging and support QC 3.0 technology.

9) We have added a coating on the stand to enhance the touch feel, which may have accidentally make it too slickly. We suggest to scratch out at the phone stand position to help retain friction. Alternatively, add a staple at the front position of the phone sitting dock can also help. Please watch the movie below.

We apologize can't prevent such hiccups, due to no pre-mass production test been tested, as well as to meet the deadline. If you want to replace a new one, please wait for the survey.

10) The watch magnet was designed based on Apple’s original magnet specification. The charging performance will affect significantly if the magnet power increased too much. The movie shown below can prove that it works well with the original version.

On the other hand, a survey will send to all backers after all shipping finished, please report your issues via that survey. Our staff will take action accordingly.

Those Backers who got issues can report to us about their problems, and EGO dedicated assistant will provide face to face video chat with backers to help solve the issues. If confirmed malfunction, a new AirAlly will send out to settle.

Hey Folks,

Apologize for our late reply, or even not reply to your message, emails, so on and so forth. Here is an elaboration and hope it can ease your concerns;

1) Currently, we are hustle in packing up goods to deliver, however, as AirAlly is belonging in the power bank category( i.e. pure battery). There are numerous restrictions in each countries, and due to frequent changes in the delivering channels, we have to tackle with 72 individual country’s changes in every minutes if not seconds.

For example;

• A) The channel deployed in delivering goods to UK is different from British outlying islands.
• B) Shipping to the U.S. is not the same as the U.S. Hawaii channel.
• C) When you send to Australia, you also need to use special pure battery transportation channel to clear customs. Backers need to contact the customs so as to get final approval. . We will send the customs clearance number to each backers.
• D) There are 200 ways of delivering goods for these 72 countries.
• E) We have to ensure the appropriate methods in advance, to avoid being stuck in the customs later, or worst, lost it

2)  The addresses of some customers do not match with the POST CODE output. As a result, we need to solve them one by one. This consumed a lot of time.

3) We are designing and trial-producing AirAlly G.2 (made for Airpods Pro) at the moment. This is a very labor-intensive and resource-intensive task. And while also dealing with current transportation issues, it becomes a complicated matters. We will show the mass production version of AirAlly Pro in January, as well as a unique website link with special offer for all AirAlly backers. Below is the 3D mold.

4) Over 50 backers/every day from various platform ; like email, Kickstarter, backerkits, FB, IG, Whatsapp to asking about the status, which we just can’t keep reply back all , even if we wishes to be.

5) Since the shipping company only send us delivered backer’s data every 3 working days, and upload to alert backers only after internal verification,therefore a delay in display is inevitable.Nonetheless, the parcel is non stopping traveling to backers designated destination, for sure.

We are currently solving these problems one by one. These problems (2, 3, 4) are beyond our expectations. In addition, we can successfully cope with the first problem

It has been promised on our order page that it will be sent within 12/2019 and 1/2020. We live with our commitment, although it’s not mandatory in kickstarter .

We have been sent over 1030 parcels, so far. 1240 orders are on the pipeline.

285 customers have not been fill in their address or have some credit card issues which still need to be solved.

The remaining 1,000 / 1240 will be delivered on 30/12/2019.

Last but not least, 240/1240 are some very remote areas, such as Maldives, Guam ... which will be processed before 17/1/2020.

We are very sorry for the delay in shipping schedule. We really can’t get back to the reply in a one on one basis.. This will hinder our working efficency (because even the customer service staff will handle the shipping issues), I hope you will be considerate. FAQ:In addition, the following are questions asked from backers who have received airally:

A: AirAlly cap is easy to fall off?

Q: No…. Impossible, see video below:

A: Why does only 3 LED lights display in AirAlly charging status, though may charged overnight?

Q: More than 90% of the problems are due to not studying the manual. The 3 LEDs of AirAlly are on to represent 100% electricity

A: Why am I charging AirAlly while cannot charge my phone wirelessly same time?

Q: It is already known that Apple ’s PD charger is not suitable for third-party PD devices. If this is the case, please replace the USB charger or other type-c PD charger.

A: Why can't my 1st and 2nd generation watches charge?

Q: Please update your watch to OS 5.0 or above. We can no longer find and test below OS 5.0 Watch OS has been updated to OS 5.0.

A: What kind of charging protocol AirAlly support?

Q: You can use USB-A QC3.0, Type-C PD2.0 / 3.0 to charge AirAlly. Maximum support 20W

A: Charging the watch is slower / hotter?

Q: Since AirAlly is a power bank, it will emit a small amount of heat (MAX.40 degrees), which causes the charging speed to be slow. However, it is also fully charged within 3 hours. The power display of the watch is somewhat inaccurate. The correct battery level will only displayed after unplugged 5 mins later.

We passed a number of QC quality tests before sending AirAlly.
